OUR STRATEGY

Leveraging technology for a bold new approach to church

Our strategy is to empower people to co-create their own gatherings wherever they are through an online tool that helps facilitate spiritual conversations and community. This online platform would support and sustain a living ecosystem of spiritual communities that connect and share resources with one another. We envision a world in which anyone can do "church" anywhere and all people are free to create, innovate, and participate in shaping a better future together.

OUR WORK

New Wine Collective seeks to create a fundamentally different way of being and doing "church" that can change the way we do everything else. We're reimagining an alternative ecclesiology for the Church — a new system altogether. Our work is situated at the intersection of technology, spirituality, and community:

AN ALTERNATIVE APPROACH TO CHURCH THAT...

Is open and accessible to all people, no matter who they are, where they are, or what they believe
Is non-competitive, flattens hierarchies, and allows every voice to be heard
Empowers people to take ownership of their spiritual journeys and co-create spiritual community on their own terms
Is not dependent on heavy programming, staffing, or costly infrastructure so that people can invest more in the work of love, healing, and justice
Is flexible and able to adapt to a complex and fast changing world

New Wine Collective founded; lots of research, ideation, and writing!

2021

Cohorts, labs, and online conversations; developing an alternative ecclesiology for the Church

2022

Launching Third Thursday webinars; creating a prototype and group organization tools

2023

Networking, prototype testing, and laying the groundwork for a full featured Beta Version

2024

Supporting and connecting communities of practice; preparing for Beta Version
